To configure iCloud for use with What’s My Note? enter the Settings App and perform each of the steps listed below. Do this for each IOS device on which What’s My Note? is installed.
- On the Settings Menu (starts with Airplane Mode), find the line entitled “What’s My Note?” It’s near the bottom. Tap it to show the What’s My Note? configuration page. Slide the bottom switch, entitled “Use iCloud (if available)” to “On”.
- Go to Settings > iCloud > iCloudDrive. Locate the top line of this page, also entitled “iCloud Drive”. Set the switch to “On”.
- Scroll to the bottom of the iCloud Drive page, and locate the line entitled “WhatsMyNote”. Set this switch to “On” too.
- At the bottom of the iCloud Drive page, locate the line entitled “Use Cellular Data”. Turning it on allows you to synchronize data when you are not connected to WiFi. However most users choose to leave this in the off position, because it can run up data charges on your phone bill. Also, this feature is of no use to you if your iPad does not have cellular capability.
